Job Description: Part-Time Accounting Clerk - Private Fiduciary Practice (Contractor, Potential for Full-Time, Remote Opportunities)

Position Summary:
We are excited to invite a dedicated and talented individual to join our growing Private Fiduciary Practice as a Part-Time Accounting Clerk. This position offers approximately 25 hours per week and has the potential to evolve into a full-time role. Additionally, we provide opportunities for remote work, allowing flexibility and the potential to become a remote employee. Financial Data Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Verify data integrity and reconcile information as required.

Invoice Processing: Review and process invoices in accordance with internal policies and procedures. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to address payment-related inquiries.

Reconciliation: Support bank and investment account reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and addressing any discrepancies.

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in budget preparation and forecasting activities. Monitor expenses and provide updates and analysis to support financial planning.

Compliance and Audit Support: Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits.

General Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and correspondence related to financial operations.


Relevant accounting experience or education, such as an associate degree in accounting or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Duration, Compensation, and Growth Potential:
This is a part-time contractor position, offering approximately 25 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate based on experience. As our practice continues to expand, there is the potential for this role to transition into a full-time position. Additionally, we offer opportunities for remote work, allowing for flexibility and the potential to become a remote employee.
